  • Both Trump and Biden are the oldest presidents to be appointed.

President Donald Trump’s video went viral over the weekend after it appeared to stumble temporarily while he was climbing the stairs in Air Force 1.

After speaking to a reporter in Morristown, New Jersey on June 8th, Trump boarded a plane on his way to camp David. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was traveling with him and appeared to be traveling while he was climbing the stairs.

The clip has been widely shared on social media and has earned millions of views.

Trump is tied up with former President Joe Biden, and the oldest president has taken office. Republicans repeatedly hit Biden’s age, pointing to a video showing Biden tripping up the stairs.

Trump’s campaign used a video of Biden stumbling over and over

According to ABC News, on March 19, 2021, Biden collapsed while climbing the stairs of Air Force 1.

But Trump and his allies have repeatedly used the clips in campaign ads such as “Jugular,” “Who and Who on Now,” and “Not a Young Guy.”

Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential election after a disastrous debate over Trump. Biden’s recent advanced cancer diagnosis has prevented questions and accusations about his age and fitness. Multiple accounts have detailed White House efforts to hide Biden’s reduced aging since Biden resigned.

Trump recently ordered a Justice Department investigation into Biden’s “cognitive decline” and claimed that his administration misused the autopen to sign the order.

Trump is 78 years old. He will turn 79 on June 14th, 2025.

How old is former President Joe Biden?
