Trump’s Rose Garden Redesign, Ballroom Plans Cause Controversy
President Donald Trump’s redesign of Rose Garden elicited a mixed reaction after it was revealed, causing controversy.
President Donald Trump is trolling his predecessor in the White House using the new “President Walk Fame.”
Now, the black and white presidential portrait hangs along the colonnade near the oval office in gold frames. But instead of a photo of former president Joe Biden, according to White House social media posts and special assistant to the president, Margo Martin, there is an autopen photo.
Trump has long questioned Biden’s mental capabilities. He does not suggest that Aides is signing Biden’s documents using Autoopen, a device that mechanically replicates signatures.
In June, Trump ordered an investigation by White House lawyers on autopen use during the Biden administration. The GOP-led House Oversight Committee is also under investigation.
In a statement in response to Trump’s orders, Biden said during his presidency that he “decided on pardons, executive orders, legislation and declarations.”
“The suggestion that I didn’t do that is ridiculous and false,” Biden added. “This is just a distraction.”
