Footage from Iranian television showed the moment when multiple Israeli strikes stopped live broadcasts.
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump took shelter by Tehran shortly after telling the country that he should have signed a nuclear deal with the US while Tehran was on the table.
The president left a group of seven summits in Alberta, Canada, where he and other world leaders were debating the five-day previous shooting war between Israel and Iran.
Trump has been telling me for days that Iran should make a deal. However, his message became even more disastrous as he warned about 10 million residents of Iran’s capital to flee late at night.
“Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. I have said it over and over again! Everyone should evacuate Tehran soon!” he said in a post about the True Society.
The warning came when Israeli forces intensified attacks on Iranian cities.

Trump, French president, says he is working on a ceasefire
French President Emmanuel Macron said Trump’s early departure from the G7 was positive, and the move to force Israel and Iran to agree to a ceasefire on US proposals was positive.
“There are particularly offers being made, especially to have a ceasefire and start a broader discussion, and I think this is a very good thing,” Macron told reporters. “So now we need to see what our stakeholders do.”
Earlier that day, Trump teased the possibility of the US proposal, telling reporters that “they have to make a deal.”

Our attitude is “defensive,” says Heggs.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegses told Fox News that the US still wants a nuclear deal with Iran.
“Of course, Jesse Watters Primetime,” Hegses said. We took a defensive stance in the region to become stronger in pursuit of peace agreements. And I certainly hope that’s what happens here. ”
Iran hopes Trump will hold back Israel
“If President Trump is genuine about diplomacy and is interested in stopping this war, the next step will be consequent,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakich said of X, pleading Trump to intervene with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Sources told Reuters that Tehran has asked Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman to engage President Donald Trump and use his influence on Netanyahu to seek an immediate ceasefire. In return, Iran will show flexibility in nuclear negotiations, the two Iranians and three regional sources said.
Israel launched a powerful attack on Iran
Israel first attacked on June 13th. In a surprising attack, it killed top military commanders and nuclear scientists. Iranian airstrikes filmed at least two Iranian uranium enrichment sites offline.
Iran has retaliated against waves of ballistic missiles that have punched Israel’s defenses into its residential areas.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the air base’s troops that Israel is on the way to achieve two main objectives: wipe out Iran’s nuclear program and destroy missiles.
By noon on June 16, officials from across the country said 224 Iranians and 24 Israelis had been killed in the conflict.
Trump leaves the summit: “I have to go back.”
When Trump was in a group at the Seven Summit in Canada, he sent Iran his harsh warnings. Shortly afterwards, the White House suddenly said he would return to Washington early to concentrate on the deepening conflict.
In a photo with world leaders, Trump told reporters, “I have to go back.”
“You probably have to see what I’m seeing and I have to go back as soon as possible,” the president said. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had also left Canada for Washington.
Trump said summit leaders understand why they leave midway through the two-day event.
Other than showing that it is linked to the situation in the Middle East, the White House provided little information about Trump’s expected exits from the country’s most advanced economies.
When the first day of the rally fell, White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt said in an X post that Trump was leaving early. “Many things have been achieved, but because of what’s happening in the Middle East, President Trump will leave with the head of state after dinner.”
Trump’s administration warned Americans not to travel to Israel earlier in the day as Iran retaliated against Israel due to last week’s strike.
