WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has stepped up his criticism of Vladimir Putin as calls with Russian leaders have not made progress in ending the war with Ukraine.

Trump told the cabinet meeting that he was “not happy” with Putin, whom he had been strong criticising for the second day in a row.

Trump said on July 8th. “We throw the**t that was thrown at us by Putin from Putin,” Trump said.

The leader spoke on the phone in June and early July. Trump has since said the phone call did not produce any results.

During a July 7 dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said Putin was also “disappointed” by him, turning the Pentagon’s decision to withhold some weapons from Ukraine.

Russian drone attacks on Ukraine increased after the Pentagon maintained shipments of weapons, including weapons from patriot interceptors, in what the Pentagon said was a review of weapons supplies that were later overturned.

“We’re not happy with Putin. I’m not happy with Putin. I can tell you so much now, because he kills a lot of people, and many of them are his soldiers,” Trump told the cabinet meeting.
