WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump said he will consider Iron Musk being deported to his hometown of South Africa as their rifts have rekindled and reached new heights amid the latest wave of criticism from billionaire tech entrepreneurs over Trump’s tax and budget bill.

Trump said the president may order the efficiency of the government that previously led billions of reviews of contracts his company will receive, speaking to reporters hours after the president in an early morning post on true social.

“We have to watch,” Trump said when asked if he would deport Musk. “We may have to put Doge on Elon. Do you know what Doge is? Doge is a monster that has to go back and eat Elon. Isn’t that awful? He gets a lot of subsidies.”

Trump’s attacks have entered the Senate’s fourth day debate after Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, resumed his voice opposition to Trump’s so-called “big beautiful bill” with a gust of the X-Post on Monday. That included a warning from Musk that he would boost major medium-term challenges to defeat Republican lawmakers who vote for legislation.

“Elon may get more subsidies than any other person in history, without subsidies, but Elon will likely need to close his shop and return to South Africa,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Society at 12:34am on July 1. “There is no more rocket launches, satellites, or electric vehicles. Our country saves a lot of money. Great money to be saved!!!”

The mask responded to cards in X’s post about 30 minutes later. “I’m literally saying I’m cutting it all out. Now,” he wrote.

Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and former top White House advisor, pointed to the bill’s forecast that would increase citizen debt by $3.3 trillion over the next decade as a reason for his hostility. But Trump has argued that Musk will only oppose the bill as it will end the program under former President Joe Biden, which will provide consumer tax credits to electric vehicle buyers.

On his first day in office, Trump took executive action to end Trump’s phrases to 2027 against the Environmental Protection Agency regulations that require new light and medium-sized vehicles to cut greenhouse gas emissions by half.

“Elon Musk knew I was strongly opposed to the mission of an EV long before he strongly supported me for the president. It was ridiculous and a big part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but no one should be forced to own it.”

“Elon is very upset that the EV mandate is over,” Trump later told reporters.

Born in South Africa, Musk became a naturalized US citizen in 2002 after gaining Canadian citizenship through his mother. Musk obtained a replacement visa and allowed him to study in the US and work visa before he became a citizen.

The new word war broke out just two weeks after Musk took steps to repair tensions with the president. For the first four months of Trump’s second term, Musk led the government-stricken Doge. This worked to dramatically reduce the size of the federal government by identifying “waste, fraud, and abuse.” Musk left the White House position in late May and focused on business ventures.

In another June 30th X Post, Musk updated the phone that he had floated for a new political party. “It’s clear in this bill’s insane spending. This will increase the debt cap at a record $5 trillion in which we live in one party country. Porky pig party!,” Musk said. “Time for a new political party that actually cares about people.”

Trump had previously threatened to end the grants he went to Mask’s company on June 5th, when his alliance with Musk publicly collapsed in an epic way.

Various mask companies have benefited from billions of dollars in US government contracts over the past 20 years. This includes SpaceX through its relationship with the Department of Defense and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Overall, Musk and his business have received at least $38 billion in government contracts, loans, subsidies and tax credits.
