Among the workers, the one Epstein stole was Virginia Giuffre, a former attendant at Mar a Lago, Trump said in Air Force 1.

President Donald Trump says Jeffrey Epstein hired a young woman from Mar Lago Spa to end the friendship.
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump says his dropout with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted several years ago, prompted recruiting staff at his former friend, Mar Lago Spa, to Trump, and one of the people who accused a dishonorable financier of sex trafficking was a Mar Lago employee.
Trump told reporters that Epstein, a staff member from him, had worked at the spa, including Virginia Giuffre. His former Palm Beach Resort attendant said she was forced to have sex with a powerful man in an unsealed deposition in a honour-damaged lawsuit against Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell. According to the lawsuit, Giuffre said she was ordered to have sex. Prince Andrew denied the allegation.
Giuffre died of suicide in April this year. Trump is the only person he has named since proven that he has ended his friendship with Epstein. He said he did so because the late multibillionaire, who was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges at the time of his death in 2019, said he had “stolen” workers from his business.
On July 29, Trump confirmed that some of the staff at Palm Beach Spa are young women. He refused to provide details first, telling reporters who were flying with him from Scotland that “everyone knows the people that were taken.”
However, he later confirmed that the young woman was involved and told reporters, “The answer is yes.” When asked what the workers did, Trump offered to say they were “at the spa.”
“People who work at the spa. I have an amazing spa. I’m one of the best spas in the world in Malla Lago and people were taken out of the spa.
Trump was asked if Virginia Juhull was one of the people Epstein hired. At first, the president said, “I don’t know.” But after a brief pause he said, “I think so, I think it was one of the people, he stole her, and she wasn’t complaining about us.”
He couldn’t say how many staff Epstein poached him, noting that the incident happened many years ago. He said, “He took the others and if he did it, it was his end.”
“When they steal people, I don’t like it,” Trump said.
The White House previously said Trump had ended his friendship with Epstein. Epstein reported that CNN attended the president’s second wedding. Trump told reporters on July 29 that the two explanations were essentially the same.
Trump is under great pressure to explain his relationship with Epstein and to publish documents related to a government investigation into Epstein’s alleged sexual offences.
His latest comments came after Maxwell, Epstein’s code fendant, agreed to provide testimony to the Congressional Committee in response to a subpoena if the panel granted her immunity. Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking in 2021. She sued the Supreme Court on July 28th.
