WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has said he is a huge fan of actress Sidney Sweeney’s much-discussed jeans ad campaign after hearing she is a registered Republican.

Trump sparkled about Sweeney’s American Eagle ad after an August 3 reporter informed the president of a new report that Sweeney was registered as a Florida Republican.

“Is she a registered Republican?” Trump said. “Oh, I love her ads. Is that correct? You’ll be surprised at the number of Republicans. That’s something I didn’t know, but I’m glad you told me.

Over the weekend, BuzzFeed News first reported on Sweeney’s party affiliation. According to official voting records, a person named Sydney B. Sweeney was registered as a Republican in Monroe County, Florida in June 2024. Sweeney’s middle name is Bernice. USA Today was unable to confirm whether it was the same Sweeney.

Trump praised the actress further in an August 4 post about his social media app, True Social.

“Sidney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘hottest’ ads. It’s for the American Eagle, and the jeans are “flying off the shelf.” Get Sydney! ” Trump said.

The American Eagle ad campaign featuring the “Euphoria” actress relies on the plays of the words “jeans,” and “jeans,” to describe Sweeney, 27. Slogan: “Sidney Sweeney has some amazing jeans.”

In one of the several videos in the campaign, Sweeney, dressed in a denim-on-denim fit, said:

“My jeans are blue,” she continues in the ad. The jeans are double duty as the camera is wearing a true blue denim fit and panting in blue eyes.

Critics say the jeans campaign will be the dog whi for the glory of eugenics and whiteness.

Last week, White House Communications Director Stephen Chan denounced Sweeney’s negative reaction to advertised as “cancelling culture run amok.”

“This distorted, moronic, dense, liberal thinking is a big reason why Americans voted the way they did in 2024,” Chun wrote on July 29th in response to MSNBC OP-ED, which said it was “fair” to denounce Sweeney’s ads. He added that people are “fed up with this,” and that they use blasphemy.

Trump also in his social media post on August 4th, denounced the luxury car company Jaguar for “silly and seriously awakened ads” featuring a man wearing a colorful skirt under the brand of the new company. Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell has resigned after criticism of advertising and plunging car sales.

“It’s a complete disaster!” Trump said of the Jaguar. “The CEO has just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute confusion. Who wants to buy Jaguar after seeing that disgraceful ad.”

Trump then took a shot on A-list celebrities: “Woke Singer” Taylor Swift is one of the world’s biggest stars. She makes it clear that “I can’t stand her,” which insists that she “is no longer hot.”

“The current has turned seriously. Wake up is for the losers, and being a Republican is what you want,” Trump said.
