Donald Trump announces increased NATO defense spending
President Donald Trump said NATO members would pay more for defense spending. He criticized Spain for not contributing any more.
President Donald Trump’s newly launched mobile phone service defends claims that T1 mobile phones are produced in the US, but the device’s website no longer promotes the “made in America” message that was displayed at launch.
Instead, they use languages such as “bringing life here in America” and “Popularly American.”
Earlier this month, the Trump Organization, the group that oversees the president’s business venture, announced a mobile network with new T1 phones and 5G services, using the Android operating system.
Following the announcement, the service’s homepage initially featured a banner claiming that the phone was “made in America.” However, the outlet reported in all languages indicating that claims had been scrubbed as of Wednesday, June 25th.
Trump’s mobile spokesman Chris Walker rejected the report, saying, “T1 phones are proudly made in America.”
“The opposition speculation is simply inaccurate,” Walker said in a statement to USA Today.
The website’s pre-order message previously referred to the device as a “T1 phone made in America.”
In a June 16 news release to announce the T1 mobile phone, the Trump organization touted its “designed for performance and proudly designed and built in the US for customers who expect the best in their mobile carriers.”
Eric Trump said that the T1 phone was “made here” among us.
In a June 16 interview with Fox Business’s Mornings With Maria, Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump organization, also hinted at devices manufactured in the US.
“You’re not calling a call centre in Bangladesh – do it right away from St. Louis, Missouri, and you’ll have a phone made here in the United States,” he said.
Eric Trump added that Trump Mobile “revolutionizes mobile phones and revolutionizes mobile calls.”
“We really believe we have one of the great kinds of high-tech platforms as part of the Trump organization of every company in the world,” he added.
