It was recalled about concerns that several packaged salads sold by Trader Joe’s traders contain undeclared allergens.
The US Food and Drug Administration announced in an April 28th that trader Joe’s sesame flavored o salad and salmon and salmon salad were recalled as it may contain undeclared milk on the label.
According to the FDA, about 500 units of salad were incorrectly packaged in sealed packets of Parmesan cheese crumble, instead of a packet of crispy onion.
According to the announcement, the salad was sold in 18 states nationwide.
This week’s announcement follows Trader Joe’s previous recall for a batch of hot honey mustard dressing that won’t expire until the end of May.
What should customers do with the recalled Trader Joe salad?
According to the FDA, customers should not consume the product if they have milk allergies. Trader Joe added that customers can return it to their local store.
Which Trader Joe’s salad was recalled?
Trader Joe’s Sesame Flavored O Salad and Salmon were recalled due to the possibility of milk allergens.
The affected batches are used on April 28th and 29th year dates and UPC barcode number 00773164 per FDA.
Where was the recalled Trader Joe salad sold?
The recalled salads are Alabama, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wascons.

Trader Joe issued a recall in March with Hot Honey Mustard Dressing.
Certain bottles may contain undeclared allergens such as peanuts, sesame, soybeans and wheat, so the recall was issued due to a labeling error, the company said.
Customers who have recall products must throw them away or return them in Trader Joe’s store for a full refund, according to the company.
The affected items had a recall date of May 27, 2025 and were sold in Arkansas, Colorado, Washington, DC, Delaware, Florida and Georgia.
