Walmart and Kentucky Legacy respond to TikTok showing incorrectly priced meat
USA TODAY spoke to Jimmy Rigg, a TikToker whose video of him getting the wrong price for meat at a store has been viewed millions of times.
Trader Joe’s plans to open eight new stores across the U.S., adding several more to its “coming soon” list.
The California-based grocer currently operates in 42 states, with no stores in Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi or West Virginia.
Trader Joe’s last week announced six new stores planned for Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kansas and Washington. These additions build on two locations in Louisiana and Texas that were previously revealed in July 2025.
A Trader Joe’s spokesperson told Nexstar, “We hope to open more new neighborhood stores each year and are actively exploring hundreds of neighborhoods across the country.”
