If she can do the “tortured poet department” with her broken heart, Taylor Swift plans to show what she can do with the fully restored one.

The pop superstar made her highly anticipated debut on August 13th as a guest on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. When the episode began, the singer’s website was updated with corsets wrapped in October 3rd in her upcoming ERA life and album covers for Bathwater on the October 3rd release date.

Fans who wanted a physical copy of her 12th era were waiting on the virtual line to order one of four variants: “Sweat and Vanilla Perfume”, “It’s Fearful”, “It’s Furious”, and “It’s Beautiful”.

“I’m very grateful for my ability to create,” Swift said on the podcast, admitting that despite her astronomical success, she never made it easy. “There was more pressure at every stage of my life at the altitude I was attaining. I sometimes had more creative control and freedom, so it felt like it was even more special to keep working hard.”

She wrote, sang and produced “Showgirls” on tours during her European era. The artwork represents the end of her night on the tour.

“My day is finished with me in the bathtub. It’s not usually a wrapped dress,” she said. “I wanted to captivate all the different aspects of how that tour felt.”

During the stop, the singer, with his furious heels and relentless stamina, went in and out of Sweden to work with producers Max Martin and Shelbach. The three collaborated on “Red” Bops and The Albums “1989” and “Resporting.”

“Showgirl” has 12 tracks, including a title track featuring Sabrina Carpenter. Another song is called “Cancel!”

“It’s a banger,” Kelse said as her number one fan. He later appeared on the album, “The Fate of Ophelia” (nod to Hamlet), “Elizabeth Taylor”, “Oparite”, “Father Figure”, “Oldest Son”, “Substitute Friendship”, “Really Romantic”, “wi $h li $t”, “”wood”, “honey.”

Kelce review: Fun, pop, upbeat.

“This album is about to make you dance,” Kelse said.

“He’s like a human exclamation point,” Swift told Jason Kelse.

Travis Kelse said she is “the best songwriter in the world.”

Swift retorted, “My boyfriend says this.”

Why a “new height”?

Travis Kelse and his brother, Jason Kelse have been hosting the “New Heights” podcast since 2022, but this was the first time Swift has been a guest on the show since she and Travis began their highly publicized romance in 2023.

Swift has chosen Kelse’s podcast as its platform, revealing his next album and taking on a new era rather than doing it on his own social media channels and live events.

After the singer wrapped up the hugely popular ERAS tour in December, fans were enthusiastically anticipating the start of the next era. Her previous album, The Tortured Poets Department, was nominated for critical acclaim and Grammy Awards in April 2024, and was nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards.

Taylor Swift’s album comes after the announcement of ownership of the music catalogue

“The Life of a Showgirl” marks Swift’s first release of new music since she became the owner of the entire catalog. In May, she revealed that she had acquired all ownership of her old albums following a dispute with former music manager Scooter Brown.

“All the music I’ve made so far is mine,” she said at the time.

Before this, Swift had re-recorded the first six albums so that she owned all the music. Swift’s self-titled 2006 debut album and her 2017 album “Resporting” were the only ones that had not yet been re-released.

In her May announcement, she told fans that she had already re-delegated “Taylor Swift” but could have still come out. She also said she hasn’t finished re-recording “Reputation” yet, but will eventually release a previously unprecedented “safe” track.

Her family helps her run many of the businesses operating in Tennessee. In the Super Bowl, her brother, Austin and mother Andrea flew to Los Angeles to meet with Shamrock capital officials to discuss buying back the Master.

Swift fought back tears and described the moment her mom called to let her know that she agreed to sell her Shamrock.

“This changed my life,” she said.

Peel off the curtains

The fore and after rhythm between Swift and Kelce is reminiscent of the time of Swift’s Myspace, where she vlogged about life as a teenager alongside her best friend Abigail Anderson. Yes, she misses seeing the crowds and fans of the ERAS tour, but she also loves downtime and spending time with her loved ones.

After using the podcast as a “personal dating app,” Swift met Kelse and urged people in his circle to talk to people in her circle, including Chief Coach Andy Reid.

“This guy didn’t say hello to the competition. That’s everyone’s problem,” she joked about Kelce.

She doesn’t read them when it comes to listening to unnecessary opinions on the internet or on negative comments. Swift turned off Instagram comments 10 years ago and offered advice to people living online.

“Think about your energy as if it were just luxury,” she said. “Not everyone can afford it.”

Holding Kelce’s hand, her vulnerability and open will shine in stark contrast to her previous relationship. Although she hopes her fandom will pause the video, analyze all the pixels and find “Easter Egg” clues in the bookcase behind the couple, transparency may be the biggest point.

She spoke about her father Scott’s recovery from Kint Apple Bypass and her mother Andrea’s knee replacement surgery. Both are going well. Her dad still handing out guitar picks. This time, I went to the hospital staff. “But he wasn’t wearing his pants,” she added.

Her favorite hobby is sourdough bread.

“I’m talking about 60% of the time about bread,” she joked. Lists the types of bread she “knead”: Blueberry Lemon (Kelce’s favorite), Cinnamon Raisins, and Rainbow Funfetti. And the woman after the heart of Panstar, her favorite post-baking tradition is to come up with a witty reference to one of her hits. “The flour song is the door to the pounding screen.” “It’s about bread, baby, just say yeast.” “I should have said dough.” “It was bread that overtaked him.”
