A woman’s body was found in the hallway of a San Francisco hotel early on New Year’s Day and has been identified as Victoria Jones, daughter of award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones. She was 34 years old.
The San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the woman’s identity to USA TODAY on Friday, January 2.
Victoria Jones’ cause of death has not been determined, the San Francisco Fire Department told The Hollywood Reporter. The department confirmed in a Jan. 2 email to USA TODAY that its employees responded to a medical emergency at the Fairmont Hotel just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 1. Upon arrival, paramedics conducted an examination and pronounced him dead, SFFD reported.
Both the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office were then called to the scene. USA TODAY has reached out to Lee Jones’ representative.
