Devito became a fan favorite when he started six games of “Big Blue” in the 2023 season. He lived in his home country in New Jersey and loved himself by commenting that his mother still cooked the chicken. His “chef kiss” hand gesture also became Devito’s call card.
The 27-year-old also started two games last season, throwing eight career touchdowns with three interceptions.
Prep Powers Don Bosco product Devito spent the first five years of his college career in Syracuse before moving to Illinois for his 2022 campaign.
