Tiktok influencer Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, finds her family dead

Prosecutors announced that an investigation is ongoing after the Tiktok influencer and her family were found in western Mexico.

Esmeralda Ferra Galivey, creator of Tiktok content, her husband, and their two young children, a boy and a girl, were found to have been murdered on Friday, August 22nd in the San Andres area of ​​Guadalajara.

According to the prosecutors, Ferragaribai, known as Esmeralda FG of Tiktok, was 32 years old. Her husband was 36 years old, her son was 13 and her daughter was six, the attorney general’s office said.

The family lived south of Jalisco in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. There, prosecutors said that influencer’s husband, Licea Garibay, had sold the car.

The Financial, the National Daily Newspaper of Mexico, reported that Garibay also cultivated tomatoes in nearby Michoacán.

According to Ferrer Garibay’s Tiktok profile, as of Wednesday, September 3rd she had nearly 50,000 followers.

The influencer posted a lifestyle video showing off her trips, her family and designer items, including Lovebus.

In her last post on Thursday, August 7th, Ferragaribai will be seen driving the car, coupled with her message about the “Dirt Road District.”

As of Wednesday, September 3rd, approximately 3.3 million people had watched the post.

A body was found wrapped in plastic at a mechanic’s shop

The bodies of Ferra Galivey and her family were found to have been abandoned at the mechanic’s shop, and although the violence appeared to be pointed to Tiktkar, her husband, the prosecutor’s office, said at release.

Citing Attorney General Jalisco’s office, newspaper El Universal reported that the body was wrapped in plastic and found inside a late model truck.

“The scene was edited and investigators found multiple pieces of evidence suggesting that the family was killed there,” said Alfonso Gutierrez Santilin, the assistant prosecutor at the office, according to the outlet after the bodies were found. “While forensic results do not exist yet, ballistic and blood evidence almost certainly confirms that he was murdered there.”

The preliminary investigation included a search for the mechanics’ shop. There, a truck was found along with the body inside, officials said.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the site is currently under the protection of authorities and is working to collect evidence and incorporate it into the investigation file by experts from the Jalisco Forensic Institute (IJCF).

Investigators from the Jalisco Attorney General’s Office’s intentional murder office were working with Jalisco security secretary, the National Guard and other Mexican federal agencies to hunt killers, according to the prosecutor’s office.
