Overreactions in NFL Week 3
Lorenzo Reyes from USA Today has categorized the biggest NFL stories from week 3.
Seriously sports
- The Lions’ big win brings them back to 2024 heights almost completely.
- Both LA teams currently live in the top five.
- What did the Chiefs’ first victory in the 2025 season do for their position?
NFL Power Rankings (previous ranks in parentheses) that will take place in the fourth week of the 2025 season:
1. Philadelphia Eagles (1): They’re not blowing anyone’s doors. Anyway, it’s not yet. But one sure sign of the champion is his ability to win multiple ways, with 12 consecutive wins at home and 19 of 20 overall, dating back to last season. Philadelphia ultimately broke the seal in the passing game, with a special team playing timely to overcome a 19-point shortage against the legal Rams Squad Sunday. It’s also not harmful to have a 336-pound defensive lineman who can spin around 20 mph. What’s next? The Cryptonite Bucks defeated Philadelphia in six of their past seven meetings.
2. Buffalo Bills (2): They are preferred at 16½ points to beat New Orleans this Sunday and to beat New Orleans this Sunday, their 14th regular season victory at Highmark Stadium.
3. LosAngeles Chargers (6): Bolt became the third team to open season 3-0 by wiping out opponents in all divisions since the reorganization in 2002. Next, we start with a two-game detour through NFC East – an unwinning giant on the road.
4. LosAngeles Rams (5): They have lost 4 of the last 12 games – not needed in January. I held down the gas pedal on Sunday. On the positive side, the injury bug has so far been away from the hard biting QB Matthew Stafford and Co. in the regular season so far in the Rams’ NFC West Rival.
5. Green Bay Packers (3): Maybe Mika Parsons & Company – specifically his teammate – was looking forward to Dallas this week… Has the franchise lost to Cowboys in nearly nine years? All focus of this week is on Parsons, but the pack’s potentially in time will protect QB Jordan’s love and allow RB Josh Jacobs to find at least a Sunshine sliver in Big D.
6. Detroit Lions (10): They don’t seem to be missing much since Rimbo’s first week face plant. The offense was once again high gear – 90 points in the last two games, and Monday night reminded Dadan Hutchinson that he’s returned to a team that allegedly lost too many coaches in the offseason.
7. Baltimore Ravens (4): Officially, another slow (1-2) start for the team that may have moved away from the two Derrick Henry 3-0. Still, there are undoubtedly defensive concerns for the unit pushed in by Detroit in the absence of an injured Pro Bowl mainstay.
8. Commander Washington (7): Coach Dan Quinn is now like a microcosm for this team – bloody but not boring, even more important as the commander prepares to visit the path for four of the next five weeks.
9. TampaBay Buccaneers (9): They were undefeated and in an epic way, the first team in the Super Bowl era (since 1966), earning victory points in the final minutes of the fourth quarter in their first three games. However, it should be noted that Bucs’ opponents so far are 1-8 total.
10. Kansas City Chiefs (8): They got off the mat, although pretty impressive against the Giants, but can play with Arrowhead in the next 4 of the five weeks.
11. IndianapolisColts (11): Three weeks later, they have the biggest point differential in the league (+47) and have a three-game lead that dominates AFC South Champion Houston. It’s the NFL, what else did you expect?
12. Seattle Seahawks (14): It’s obviously early, but this is formed as a complementary football team coach that second-year coach Mike McDonald had hoped for in the midst of an offseason mini. In particular, the defense allows for the second-most visible point per game so far.
13. San Francisco 49ers (12): The 3-0 start is clearly amazing. But when you win with an average of 3.3 points after that Will Pro Bowl Denick Bosa (Torn ACL) be defeated? It can be very fast to fools’ money.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (15): Secondly, the league’s first regular season game in Ireland – the perfect place for Aaron Rodgers to share his thoughts on Sinn Fair. On the soccer side, you need to risk attacking gear for the second-place NFL ground attack and overreliance on the 41-year-old slinger.
15. Minnesota Viking (22): Secondly, the league’s first regular season game in Ireland – Ginger Carson Wentz doesn’t look like an oversized leprechaun? On the football front, WR2 Jordan Addison is set to rejoin the team for a two-game European swing when he returns from his suspension this week.
16. Arizona Cardinals (13): The loss of RB James Connor for season-ending ankle surgery could cost this team in terms of production, but it definitely lies in the leadership department.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (19): De Josh Hines-Allen needs two bags to become the greatest leader in this franchise ever. Tony Brackens, 55, is the standard bearer now… and reminds me of the best days of the jug happened quarter century ago.
18. Denver Broncos (16): According to the following Gen statistics, QB Bo Nix’s “average completed airyards” is 3.8, with Rodgers lowest in the league (2.9). What does that mean? Apparently, that Denver’s passing game is dodging three weeks.
19. Chicago Bears (26): Sunday was the best day for sophomore QB Caleb Williams professional. It was also the first time that the 20 NFL had started. He wasn’t fired – even more surprising as he should have been destroyed while running one of the worst chisel flickers of all time.
20. Cincinnati Bengals (18): We knew they were likely to struggle without injured QB Joe Barrow. But will you fall into the 45-point hole type that you’re struggling with? Will it be a team even without QB1? Ominous.
twenty one. Houston Texans (20): When you start losing a game in Jacksonville for the first time since 2017, it’s time to start paying attention to that panic button…especially if you can add points to the league’s worst offense by pushing it (12.7 per game so far).
twenty two. Carolina Panthers (30): The team that allowed the most points (534) in NFL history last season, threw their first shutout in five years on Sunday, recording their biggest winning margin (30 points) in a decade.
twenty three. Atlanta Falcons (17): They were on the other side of the Carolina White Wash and were blanked for the first time since 2021. Apparently, it was due to WR coach Ike Hilliard as he was fired Monday.
twenty four. LasVegas Raiders (23): Next, we learn that everything Intel Tom Brady has collected with her opponent this weekend, The Bears, is worth it. This is because Silver and Black remained in the deficit within three TDSs on Sunday after TB12 saw Washington at the beginning of the month.
twenty five. New England Patriot (24): Speaking of Brady, the last time Pat committed five Sunday turnovers was in 2008 (again against Pittsburgh) when the goat season was wiped out by a week-long ACL tear.
26. Cleveland Browns (31): As Chedur Sanders’ father Dion (Dion?), famously stated, “If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play well.” Props from “Alpha Dawg” (presented by Dudewipes) who was able to confuse the mighty puck despite his appearance on Sunday.
27. New York Jets (27): WR Garrett Wilson is ranked among the NFL leaders at 21 receptions. The other NYJ Wideouts do not manage five catches.
28. Dallas Cowboys (21): There are no Parsons. There is no cedeelam for the near future. They have no ability to defensively stop other teams. But Jerry Jones thinks this is a playoff team. Of course.
29. Miami Dolphins (32): They are in the middle of an 11-day interlude between games after a fight in Buffalo last Thursday. The Jet, Panthers and Browns rarely throw towels among the next four opponents.
30. New York Giants (25): Their first backfield could have been Daniel Jones and Saquon Berkley. Their first backfields were Jackson Dirt and Cam Scattebo. But Giants fans — at least for now — have to solve any of the above.
31. Tennessee Titans (29): Will the head coach be fired during the midseason for the second year in a row despite his team spending the number one draft pick in QB? Titans were 3-17 under Brian Callahan, and the Nashville natives were very restless during Sunday’s 21-point defeat to Indy.
32. NewOrleans Saints (28): Three different helmets for 3 weeks. It’s not like they’re not leading the league in anything.
