Cox praises Utah’s peaceful reaction after Charlie Kirk fires
Gov. Spencer Cox praised Utahan for his response to prayer vigils instead of the riots, warning that political violence only deepens the division.
Charlie Kirk’s body was returned to Phoenix on Thursday, September 11th.
The ruins of the right-wing influencer were transported south from Utah to Arizona by Air Force 2 after Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife Usha met with close friends with Kirk’s family in Salt Lake City.
Hours before his arrival, President Donald Trump said he was scheduled to attend Kirk’s funeral, but details have not been released yet.
When Kirk’s body arrives in Phoenix, it is taken to a local funeral chapel with motorcade escorts, with mourners lined up, and his wife, Erica Franzbe, waving to her supporters.
