“Is this just for the label? Who steps into Lululemon and says, ‘Yeah, that’s the cutest summer dress I’ve ever seen.’ ”

The internet is obsessed with new dresses. No, it’s not the 2015 “dress.” Behind the hysteria is the multifunctional athlete maxi skirt dress duo from trendy sportswear brand Lululemon.
Lululemon’s new 2-in-1 Maxi dress has gained mixed feelings from social media users with a basic one-color dress that can be worn as an ankle-length maxi skirt or strapless dress. Some believe that a dress that costs nearly $150 is worth every penny because of its versatility, while others think that it’s not worthy of hype so much that it sells out in all sizes except for the very large.
Why not ask what people think? This is what the internet is saying about the virus Lululemon 2-in-1 Maxi dress.
How much does Lululemon’s 2-in-1 Maxi Dress cost?
The 2-in-1 Maxi dress costs $148 on the Lululemon website before delivery.
As of June 3rd, the dresses were sold out in all sizes and colors, but are iconic with very large ivory. However, shoppers can sign up and be informed at any time if the dress will be restocked on the Lululemon website.
What do people say about dresses?
In Tiktok’s video, which had 83,000 viewers as of June 3, content creator Shantalissa modeled the dress and encouraged followers to buy.
“It takes a lot of time to buy what I saw on Tiktok, but seeing this 2-in-1 dress from Lululemon literally went straight to the store and tried it out,” Chantalissa said in the video. “I actually feel like a princess in it. It’s so beautiful, so flowing. I’m hooked.”
Conversely, content creator Dacy has expressed confusion about the popularity of the dress, particularly due to its price and simple design.
“Is this just for the label? There are people who walk into Lululemon and say, ‘Oh, is that the cutest summer dress I’ve ever seen?”
Is it not “thneed” or “thneed”
Lululemon’s 2-in-1 Maxi dress was quickly considered “thneed” on social media. “thneed” is a clothing that can be worn in multiple ways, and its name comes from the highly versatile object woven by the former man of Dr. Seuss’s “Lolax.” As depicted in the original Lorax book and film, “thneed” can be used as a shirt, socks, gloves, hat, carpet or pillow – “the great thing that everyone needs.”
In addition to being multifunctional, “thneed” is cheap ($3.98 as outlined in “Lorax”), and “thneeds” is made entirely from the leaves of truffle trees, thus making them from the circular trees in the story.
Some may believe that the 2-in-1 maxi dress is “thneed”, but Tiktok user Rachel, commonly known as “thneed Girl,” disagrees.
“The clothes have not really changed at all. They’ve been down at their hips and then headed up like a chest. It’s not converted to what you really need to do,” Rachel said in a video for Tiktok. “You can love this dress. You can hate this dress. You can hate this dress. You can be anything you want about the ethics of this dress, Lululemon as a company, I really don’t care, but it’s not thneed.”
