The Army will be hooked for damages caused by a massive tank rolling the streets of Washington, DC, on the Big 250 Army birthday on June 14th, scheduled for the same day as President Donald Trump’s birthday.

The parade will roll dozens of giant military vehicles, including two armored ground combat vehicles, 28 tanks and 28 Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Strikers, 28 Tanks, 28 Bradley Fighting Vehicles and 28 Bradley Fighting Vehicles and 28 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, according to the latest figures shared with reporters at the May 21 briefing.

The Army “doesn’t expect any damage” to roads in the country’s capital, said Colonel Jess Curry, executive officer of the Army Corps of Engineers.

However, if damage occurs, the military will take responsibility, said Colonel Cris Vitale, the officer responsible for this week’s celebration.

The Army plans to lay a huge metal plate, at least one inch thick, on top of the spots of the parade route where the tanks spin. According to Curry, straight segments of the route running along Constitutional Street, passing the Washington Memorial, are not protected.

Asked about last month’s parade, Washington mayor Muriel Bowser said rolling military tanks down the city’s streets “will not be good,” and said the military should pick up the tabs for the damages that have been incurred.

“We’re not going to have a good military tank on the street,” she said at a press conference on April 7. “If military tanks are used, they should be accompanied by millions of dollars to repair the road.”

Trump was accused of politicizing the military through the parade

Trump’s role in the parade and its plan sparked debate in Washington, with Democrats and Trump critics calling it an inappropriate politicization of the military.

The White House said the parade was an Army anniversary celebration, marking Trump’s birthday falling on the same day as a coincidence.

In his first term, Trump repeatedly and failed, but urged the Pentagon to frame a military parade.

The June parade will be everything he pushed at the time – about 6,700 soldiers will take part, with the initial estimate of the crowd being 200,000, Army officials said on May 21.

The parade also includes historic fighter jets and at least 50 helicopter overpasses, as previously reported by USA Today.

The Golden Knights, an Army parachute team, soars from the sky and presents a folded American flag on a Trump. From his presidential booth, Trump will preside over the enlistment and re-enlistment of 250 soldiers.
