Washington – Army’s latest estimate for major parades to celebrate 250th The anniversary of President Donald Trump’s birthday is a total of $40 million, including the cost of repairing a street in Washington, D.C.

Meanwhile, the Navy celebrates 250th According to a spokesperson, there are no plans for a similar parade on October anniversary. The Marines also have 250.th It appears that in November they don’t even have a parade on tap.

It leads Democrats and members of the Armed Services Committee and believes that the June 14 parade is just as feeding Trump’s ego as it celebrates military legacy, in costumes from the era that featured tanks, helicopters, war planes and the military.

“It was Donald Trump that was the focus of his own attention, and the Army birthdays happened to be a handy excuse,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut. “He may celebrate all of our military services together as their birthday is imminent.

“I’m all in favor of celebrating our service anniversary in a better way, but there’s no luxurious spending of funds that is essential to our military.”

The administration argues that Army anniversary and Trump’s birthday are coincidence, and that the parade is justified to honor the sacrifices of soldiers. Planning for the June 14th parade began in earnest about a month ago.

“The President is planning a historic celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday, honoring a generation of selfless Americans who put everything at risk for our freedom,” Vince Haley, director of the National Policy Council, said in a statement last month.

Trump told NBC in May that the parade cost “peanuts compared to the value of doing it.”

The Army admits that parades are expensive, But the costs are said to have been justified. The spokesman Steve Warren recently told reporters that “it has been extended by 250 years of service and sacrifices by the US military” that tens of millions of people have spent on the parade.

The parade’s Army’s initial estimates covered the $25 million to $45 million range. But the estimates have been refined as the event approaches, including the damage to the streets and infrastructure expected from heavily armored vehicles, according to defense officials who are not allowed to publicly speak. It is unclear how much the Army budgeted to repair the expected damages.

The $40 million taxpayer funds a parade featuring Abrams tanks, vintage World War II fighters, and thousands of soldiers marching in uniforms of the era to show the battles of the nation from the Revolutionary War to the present. A review stand is being built for Trump, south of the White House.

Tanks shipped from Texas

The Army is transporting soldiers from Texas to Washington for a parade from the railroads and from other posts across the country. They will be housed downtown in government buildings transformed into temporary barracks with thousands of beds.

The military parade, especially the annual French day of Bastille, celebrated Trump. However, celebrations of military power are more common in authoritarian regimes.

All Army members participating in the parade are civilian and are expected to be two-tiered in what the Army calls life support areas, officials said. There are exceptions. Pvt. Doc Holliday is one.

Doc is a Blue Healer Hound, according to the first Cavalry Division, and is a precious member of the horse cavalry detachment. Officials said Doc will be staying at the hotel with his handler.
