Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayne appears to have picked up the first down on fourth and one when he felt Max Claire was open in the middle of the field, but Purdue’s tight end transfer can’t hold the ball. An expensive drop by Klare will allow Texas and Arch to undo the ball on their 49-yard line.
Both teams make a big appearance early in this.
Don’t trick me once and don’t fool me twice – is that so?
Whether that catchphrase is correct or not, Ohio State defensive coordinator Matt Patricia dials pressure for fourth and second, stopping the Buckeyes defense to Texas drive CJ Baxter back on the line for a one-yard profit. They returned the big bounce from Ohio State as they failed to score the previous fourth downs top.
The Buckeyes will take over their own 42-yard line.
Officials give Texas the first down with quarterback sneaks in fourth and one. A brave call from Steve Sarkisian calls to go early in the game, especially as the Longhorn is still on the side of the field. Arch Manning’s running ability could be a key component of Longhorns’ offense that day.
The first attempt at passing from Archmanning that day is incomplete as it does not lead to Michael Toffee on the right side of the field. The second and ten are approaching for the Longhorns.
The Buckeyes get a toss and postponed it to the second half. So, that’s where Archmanning and Texas attacks come first. Ongoing in Columbus!
The final headgear pick of Lee Corso’s illustrious career at “College Gemedai” goes to others outside of Ohio when he wears Brutus Buckeye headgear in the middle in front of everyone inside Ohio Stadium.
When he appeared on Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff,” US men’s national team coach Maurico Pockettino leads Buckeyes fans and OH-IO chants outside of Ohio Stadium.
Pockettino was also caught catching up to Matthew McConaughey, a Texas fan known for the field inside the stadium.
“Minister of Culture” Matthew McConaughey is in Columbus to watch his Texas Longhorns take him to Ohio. Fox’s broadcast cameras caught the Texas alumnus sharing a moment on the Ohio Stadium field with former Longhorns coach Mac Brown.
Brown went 1-1 with Ohio State when he was in Texas. A victory came at Ohio Stadium in 2005, with the Longhorns defense plundering Ohio State quarterback Troismith in the Buckeyes’ end zone, sealing the victory.
In his six seasons as a full-time coach for the Buckeyes, Ryan Day is 2-3 against the SEC team. The 46-year-old coach joined the unwinning and SEC teams of Matchup vs Tennessee State in the first round of CFP last year.

Ohio State football coach Ryan Day, while appearing in “College Gemedai,” gave Lee Corso his own buckeye helmet, which includes a buckeye leaf sticker that placed the Ohio State mascot Brutus Buckeye mascot in the legendary headgarpic segment.

Ohio Texas forecast
“This is a real throw in a highly anticipated showdown. Both teams will beat Ohio’s Julian Thane and Texas’ Archmanning – new quarterbacks after losing so many cores from the CFP team. Homefield advantage could be key here.”
- John Luzzi, USA TODAY SPORTS: Texas 24, Ohio 21
“Texas entered the Big Ten Country last year and beat Michigan State at Michigan Stadium. The same thing will happen at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, but the score is unbiased. Archmanning will lead the Longhorns on a key fourth quarter drive to set his first signing victory against Texas.”
