McDonald’s Reclaims an Extra Value Meal

The monopoly officially returned to McDonald’s after a decade of absence.
Starting on Monday, October 6th, McDonald’s customers will be able to “rediscover the thrill of peel” based on a popular board game dating back to 1935.
Unlike the 2015 version, this time we’re switching things a bit by introducing “digital games” to McDonald’s app, in addition to the classic game “Tab” printed on various menus.
There are plenty of “magnificent prizes” available, from dream vacations to $1 million prizes.
All you have to do is “order your favorites from Monopoly on the McDonald’s menu, then use the app to collect property pieces and redeem the winning prize.”
There are some things you need to know about how to play this time.
How to play McDonald’s exclusive
Just like following the rules of the game, it’s very easy to sign up to play the game. All you have to do is follow a few steps:
- Download the McDonald’s app. Click “Rewards” to register and play the game (if you register before 10/6, you will receive 500 MyMcDonald reward points)
- Please order! Registered players can order selected menu items and get and play “Game Pieces” either physical or digital (To play McDonald’s Exclusive without purchasing, please visit amoe.playatmcd.com to request a Game Pieces.)
- “Peel” to find out what you won. (For digital game pieces, you can find prizes directly in the McDonald’s app, and for physical game pieces, it will peel off directly from the package and scan the QR code in the McDonald’s app.)
Registered players will also receive a “Bonus Play” for each game piece collected until Sunday, November 2nd.
What is the exclusive McDonald’s prize?
Players registered on each turn are taking part in a chance to win from a “stolen award pool,” including a million American Airlines AAD Vantage miles, a $50,000 vacation to “Monopoly Go!”. Location from Lowe’s and $10,000 shopping.
The fun doesn’t stop there.
McDonald’s customers will also have the opportunity to win free meals during the game, along with prizes from “bonus play” victory, including the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and $1 million in cash.
