Even when Taylor Swift’s fandom was screaming online for the “Tortured Poet” singer to appear at the American Music Awards (AMAS), she didn’t walk or appear on the purple carpet during the Las Vegas program.
And maybe the reason is that she didn’t win any of her six nominations on the fan-voted awards show.
Billie Eilish has won Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Female Pop Album and Favorite Tour Artist. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars won this year’s collaboration for “Smile With a Smile.”

On May 23, Swift was discovered alongside her boyfriend Travis Kells on the other side of the country at Harry’s Bar & Restaurant in West Palm Beach, Florida. She keeps her inconspicuous following the Super Bowl. She missed the Iheartradio Music Awards in March and received the Lifetime Achievement Award on the “Century Tour.”
For weeks, fans were hoping to appear on the Las Vegas broadcast to release the highly anticipated album, “Review (Taylor’s Version).”
The Swiftie Influencer Account has compiled a list of “26” dates, AMA. They pointed out an intro video for the “reputation” of the ERAS tour, where her high heels click 26 times. She debuted the video in March 2023, but fans thought it might suggest an awards show in two years. Actress Swift Tiffany Haddish was featured in the reputation stadium tour video for “Look What You Made Me Do.”
“She has 676 posts, equivalent to 26×26,” one user also tweeted, pointing to the awards show date.
Maybe the “26” hints are a sign of a day rather than 2026?
But the most scrutinized clue came from a team of superstars. They switched through the shop section of TaylorsWift.com to include four categories: apparel, music, accessories and sales.

Swift’s previous American Music Award
Swift has won 40 awards and holds the most decorated artist, Amas Crown. In 2022, the “Bejeweled” singer thanked her corps of supporters after winning the Artist of the Year.
“In the past few years, I’ve released more music than it did ten years ago,” Swift held the Glass Award. “They made it clear that they want to hear a lot of music I make.”
