Taco Bell boosts beverage games with the nationwide release of “Refrescas”

When is Taco Bell located at Taco Bell? At the Live Mass Cafe.
The popular fast food chain is forked at a new type of restaurant, LiveMás Café. The cafe offers a variety of customizable drinks, including special coffee and newly launched Refrescas.
The first new Live Más Café is expected to open early next month in Orange, California, the company said in a recent news release. This was run by franchise partner Diversified Restaurant Group after the successful first test location opened in Chula Vista, California in November 2024.
By the end of the year, Taco Bell plans to add 30 live Más Cafés, adding all the parts of the chain’s attempts to cope with Generation Z’s drink thirst.
“Today, people, especially young consumers, reach out to refreshing drinks as part of their lifestyle, whether it’s energy or sweet treats throughout the day,” says Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer. “So we’re making a huge investment to become the ultimate drink stop where fans can see the same bold and unexpected creativity in their cups that they do on the plate.”
What is Live Mass Cafe?
Live Más Café is a “innovative drink concept” and an extension of existing restaurants, with customers offering options for “signature drinks and Taco Bell’s favorite craving lineup” on their food menu, the company said in a statement to USA Today.
Customers can expect “a high-quality in-restaurant experience featuring contemporary decor and outstanding hospitality” from the cafe’s specialty drink mixer known as “Berlistas.”
Where does Taco Bell hold live Más Cafés?
Taco Bell plans to open 30 new live Más Cafés within the existing Taco Bell restaurant by the end of 2025. Beyond that, there aren’t more than 8,000 Taco Bells adding live Más Cafés. In addition to opening live Más Café in Orange, California in early August (468 S Main St.), Taco Bell has been released in other areas normally.

What kind of drinks can you get at the live Más Cafés at Taco Bell?
The menu features over 30 signature drinks, including frozen blended churro chiller (limited availability), Dirty Mountain Dew Baha Blast Dream Soda, Specialty Coffee and newly launched refrescas. (caffeine-filled, pineapple lime or tropical punch flavor), and a frozen strawberry lime flavored drink with refresher freeze, real freeze dried fruit freeze drink.
