NFL commissioner Roger Goodell defended the decision to use Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl halftime performer, acknowledging his international reputation.
The lineup for Turning Point USA’s “All American Halftime Show” is finally here.
The show, hosted by a conservative group to rival Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, will feature performances by Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and more. Gabby Barrett wins New Female Artist of the Year at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards, will also appear.
Kid Rock is a close ally of President Donald Trump and has become more outspoken about his conservative beliefs in recent years. Gilbert and Bryce are both mid-tier stars in the country music world. Gilbert is known for hits like “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Bottoms Up,” while Bryce is known for songs like “One of Them Girls” and “Rumor.” Barrett is currently the only female performer announced and broke out with her hit single “I Hope.”
“We approach this show like David and Goliath. It’s almost impossible to compete with pro football machines and global pop superstars…or is it?” Kid Rock said in a release announcing the lineup.
Kid Rock went on to attack Bad Bunny, saying, “He’s saying he’s going to have a dance party and wear a dress and sing in Spanish? That’s cool. We’re going to play great songs for people who love America.”

Turning Point, founded by the late right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, has announced that it will stage a replacement Super Bowl halftime performance in October after the NFL’s controversial selection of Bad Bunny as its headline artist.
Who is Bad Bunny?
Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican Latin superstar who sings primarily in Spanish, has criticized President Trump’s deportation efforts in the past. When it was announced that he would be chosen to headline the Super Bowl, several conservative pundits and Trump himself criticized the choice, arguing that he was not a popular enough artist and was a divisive choice. Bad Bunny became the world’s most streamed artist on Spotify in 2025.

In protest, Turning Point will stream its “All American Halftime Show,” a celebration of “faith, family and freedom,” on its social channels and several conservative networks, including Real America’s Voice and OAN.
“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show for no other purpose than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Turning Point spokesperson Andrew Corbett said in a release. “We aimed to provide fun, great and exciting entertainment options for the whole family as millions of people gather for the big game. These performers have done just that and we can’t wait to see the great show they’re going to put on. We know that millions of people across the country will be watching too.”
