Met Gala: Anne Hathaway Locks High Ponytail
Anne Hathaway rocks a tall ponytail on the Metagara 2025 red carpet.
Welcome to Miranda Priestley.
Meryl Streep re-embodied her fierce character in “Devil Wear Prada” alongside Italian Coscar Stanley Tucci at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, September 27th.
The two appear to dress up to characters from the 2006 cult classic.
A modish appearance comes as the star recently recreates her role as “Devil Wears Prada 2” as fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestley and art director Nigel.
The sequel, scheduled for release in May 2026, also includes the return of Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, and according to Variety and People, newcomers Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux are welcome to the franchise.
The show was also attended by longtime Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. He resigned from his role in the magazine in June about 37 years later. She is no longer an editor for the outlet, and is now Chief Content Manager at Condé Nast and the global editorial director at Vogue. The fashion mogul has long been considered the inspiration for Streep’s harsh and elegant characters in the film.
On December 1, she worked on a comparison between herself and the fictional editor, telling the BBC “to determine whether there are any similarities between me and the priests of Miranda, for the audience and those whom I work with.”
