Millie Bobby Brown has added another name to her nickname.
The Stranger Things star, who married rocker Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi in 2024, revealed in a recent interview that she has changed her last name. In a new interview with co-star Noah Schnapp, Brown said he dropped his middle and last name and added Bon Jovi at the end.
“It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi, that’s it. Millie Bon Jovi,” she said in a VT interview, in response to Schnapp’s joke that her new name was “Millie Bonnie Bobby Brown Bongiovi.”
It’s unclear whether Brown, 21, will change his name in the professional arena. Many stars change their legal name but keep their stage name.
Brown and Bon Jovi adopted their daughter in August, with Schnapp serving as her godfather.
The “Enola Holmes” star, who has remained largely silent about her personal life, recently revealed new details about her wedding to the son of a famous musician.
On the Nov. 26 episode of the Dish Food podcast, Brown took listeners through his private wedding to Bongiovi, 23, in Italy in May 2024.
“When Jake proposed, I thought, ‘We’ve got to learn the dance routine. We’re going to remember that forever and when this song comes on when we’re 80,'” she said. “It’s going to be very special.”
She nailed the dance routine called “Dirty Dancing.” “I thought, ‘What if I take the wrong elevator?'” Brown said. “It was too much.” Instead, the couple ended up taking dance lessons to learn a wide range of routines from Brown’s favorite movie, “Grease 2.”
