State Trump’s approval ratings show rankings for Tennessee, Illinois

President Donald Trump announced on September 12 that he would next send the National Guard to Memphis in his criminal crackdown.

Trump deployed the National Guard in Washington, D.C. in early August, saying that crime needs to be curbed despite the fact that it has already declined this year. He has special authority to deploy security guards to DC, as opposed to the states where the governor oversees normal deployments.

Over the next few weeks he messed around sending troops to Chicago, portraying them like a crime-plagued “hole of hell.” However, he stopped short as Illinois Governor JB Pretzker strongly opposed the idea of unfolding. Instead, Trump said the Tennessee governor welcomed the help.

“The mayor is happy… the governor is happy,” Trump told Fox News “Fox & Friends.” “I’m going to fix it like Washington because it’s so deeply bothered me. I’d prefer to go to Chicago.”
