To start the new year, Starbucks has a new winter menu that may appeal to lovers of caramel, pistachio, and Dubai chocolate.

The specialty coffee chain will launch a new winter menu starting Tuesday, Jan. 6, replacing its holiday menu, Goodbye Creme Brulee Latte. New drinks include the Caramel Protein Latte and Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha, as well as the Pistachio Latte with the return of pistachio flavor and the new Pistachio Cortado.

Collectors of seasonal tumblers, cold cups and coffee mugs can choose from exclusive Valentine’s Day-themed items and items celebrating the Year of the Horse, which arrives in February according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

Here’s what you need to know about Starbucks’ new winter menu, which goes on sale Tuesday, January 6th.

What kind of drinks are on Starbucks’ winter menu?

Starbucks is adding two new caramel protein drinks to its year-round menu, debuting on January 6th. Pistachio flavor will be added to the year-round menu, but the four limited-time pistachio drinks will be available only during the winter season. And following an overwhelming response to the Dubai chocolate-inspired matcha latte recipe that debuted on Starbucks’ “secret menu” in January 2025, two new limited-time drinks have been officially added to the winter menu.

The full lineup is as follows:

  • Caramel protein matcha: Protein-enriched milk, unsweetened matcha, and caramel syrup (available hot or iced, with new unsweetened caramel syrup).
  • Caramel protein latte: Starbucks Espresso Roast, Protein Milk and Caramel Syrup (available hot or iced, with new sugar-free caramel syrup).
  • Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha: Unsweetened matcha is mixed with pistachio sauce, milk, and ice, then topped with chocolate cream cold foam and a salted brown butter topping.
  • Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha: Starbucks espresso roast, chocolate mocha sauce, and milk are poured over ice and topped with pistachio cream cold foam and a salted brown butter topping.
  • Cut pistachios: Starbucks Blonde Espresso Ristretto Shots Available in 3 Types – Cortado drinks are made with ristretto shots, which are smaller and more concentrated than traditional espresso shots, and are topped with pistachio flavor, steamed milk, and salted brown butter.
  • Pistachio cream cold brew: Cold brew, vanilla syrup, pistachio cream cold foam, and salted brown butter sprinkles on top.
  • Pistachio milk: Espresso, sweet pistachio sauce, milk, and salted brown butter topping (available hot and iced).
  • Pistachio Frappuccino: Coffee, pistachio flavor, milk, ice, whipped cream, and salted brown butter topping (you can also order it without coffee as a pistachio cream frappuccino).

What else is on Starbucks’ winter menu?

Starbucks’ winter menu will also see the return of popular snacks, including timely Valentine’s Cake Pops and year-round menu upgrades, like the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich. This sandwich features newly cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and sharp white cheddar for more flavor.

The arrival of the winter menu also means a new wave of Starbucks drinkware and merchandise, including a Year of the Horse key chain with a miniature Bearista in a horse costume.
