Check out Starbucks’ first Barista Championship winners
Starbucks held its first Global Barista Championship in Las Vegas, featuring baristas from around the world.
Starbucks’ secret menu is now available.
The premium coffee chain has long been called “not so secret menu” broadcast channels on Instagram, with concepts that were not listed on the official menu being shared with followers. (Make sure there were over 151,000 members at the end.)
Starbucks hopes to easily find these new drink hacks, so special customized drinks are now appearing on the Starbucks app. Members of the Starbucks Rewards Loyalty Program can find them on the Offers tab. If you have a drink available, you will be prepared with all the options listed at participating stores, announced in a press release on Monday, July 14th.
The Secret Menu release comes just a few months after CEO Brian Niccol simplified the Starbucks menu and made changes to trim the Frappuccino options in particular, but it seems like a more option for Starbucks patrons.
Since these “less-popular” drinks were removed, a new Strato Frappuccino blended drink was added to the menu on July 8th.
Starbucks Secret Menu Contest
To begin launching the secret menu, Starbucks will be holding a contest this week to find new favorite new drinks. Customized drinks can be sent from Monday, July 14th to Sunday, July 20th on the Secret Menu Contest page. The top four drinks will be voted on the Starbucks Instagram page from August 18th to 20th.
The four finalists each won $5,000, and drinks will also be featured on the secret menu from August 18th to 25th. The Grand Prize winner will win an additional $25,000.
Starbucks Drink: There’s a new hack
Four new drink customizations are featured on the Starbucks app to launch more public releases on the Secret menu.
- Cookies above: Customize the cold brew with two pumps of vanilla syrup and vanilla wheat cream cold foam and cookie crumble toppings.
- Dragon Fruit Glow Up: Starting with a lemonade refresher with mango dragon fruit, add a peach juice blend, blended and topped with a vanilla wheat cream cold foam.
- Lemon, tea, pearls: Add raspberry-flavored popping pearls (used in refreshed drinks) to your tea and lemonade.
- Just add a white mocha: We upgraded brown sugar oat milk swaying espresso with white chocolate mocha sauce and concluded with a vanilla wheat cream cold foam.
