Trey Parker and Matt Stone aren’t holding back.
The creator of “South Park” was torn apart by President Donald Trump and his boss of Paramount at the season 27 premiere of the animation show. Comedy Central, where “South Park” is aired, is owned by Paramount.
This episode depicts Trump literally goes to bed with his lover, Satan, using actual photos of the president roughly placed on an animated body. It is the same portrayal that Saddam Hussein received in his 1999 South Park film, with Satan commenting that Trump and Saddam are “exactly the same.”
In the episode, Trump is portrayed as a pale-skinned bully who threatens to sue anyone on his bad side. The main plot revolves around “love” and the president’s pushing Christianity in the classroom with Jesus physically appearing in the boys’ school. When South Park’s parents were angered and pushed back, Trump decides to sue the town.
The episode is a “60 Minute” interview with Kamala Harris, aiming for Paramount for a controversial settlement with Trump. A pair of “60 minutes” anchors are shown covering the protests in South Park, but they nervously praise Trump and insist they disagree with the protesters.
Eventually, Jesus arrives at the South Park protest and speaks nervously with his teeth gritting, revealing that he has come to the children’s school “as it was part of the lawsuit and the agreement with Paramount.”
“Now that someone has retreated, he can do whatever he wants,” Jesus continued, “You guys saw what happened to CBS. Well, who owns CBS?
The episode aired less than a week after Colbert’s “Late Show,” which CBS said was economical reasons. But critics have denounced the network that owns Paramount to cancel the show to appease Trump amid a proposal to merge with Skydance, which requires Trump administration’s approval. Colbert is a critic of Trump’s voice and laughs at him in almost every episode of “The Late Show.”
The season premiere ends with South Park people settling with Trump and agreeing to do pro-Trump messaging as part of their agreement. So the show cuts down the announcement of ProTrump’s public services, where Trump appears to be completely naked and raw through the desert in live action.
With surprising criticism of Paramount, the episode aired the same day Paramount announced a five-year agreement with Parker and Stone for 50 new episodes of “South Park.”
The White House says “South Park” has been “unrelated for over 20 years” after a Trump parody
White House spokesman Taylor Rogers denounced “South Park” in a statement provided to USA Today in response to Trump parody for the season premiere.
“There’s really no end to the hypocrisy on the left. For years, they’ve come for what “South Park” was labelled as “attack” content, but they’re suddenly celebrating the show,” Rogers said. “Like the creators of “South Park,” there is no real or original content on the left. As a result, their popularity continues to reach record lows. ”
A White House statement said: “The show has been unrelated for over 20 years and is hanging in a thread with ideas that have not attracted attention. President Trump has brought promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history.
