South Korean police have arrested the two allegedly being the scared mail of Tottenham Hotspur captain and the son of football superstar Hong Min and the son of football.
The 32-year-old son said he filed a police complaint against a woman and a man threatening to spread “false information” that his agency, Son & Football Limited, said Thursday.
“We will take strong legal action without leniency to punish those who pose a threat to a horrifying email with obvious false information,” the agency said in a statement on its website.
Gangnam Police Station in southern Seoul said it is investigating a woman in her 20s and a man in her 40s on charges of attempting to be a horrifying tor after receiving a complaint from her son last week.
The woman was said to have approached her son last June, claiming she was pregnant with his child and demanding money in exchange for her silence, Yonghap quoted police. She reportedly sent ultrasound images to her son and received a 300 million Korean victory ($215,180), the media said.
The man is believed to be an acquaintance of the woman and is said to have tried to blackmail his son in March. He reportedly had not received the money, Yonghap said.

Police arrested a woman on Wednesday evening local time for terrifying mail, and the man arrested her for attempting to terrifying mail. According to Yonhap, authorities stormed two private homes and secured calls for further investigation.
“My son, Hyun Min, is the obvious victim of this incident,” the soccer star’s agency said.
“We once again apologize for worrying about everyone who supports my son Heung Min on such a scandalous issue,” the agency wrote.
His son was extremely popular in his home country in Korea and became known as one of the greatest Asian footballers of all time.
The son began playing soccer as a child in Chinchon, located about 46 miles northeast of Seoul and under his father’s supervision. In 2009, he was chosen to participate in the prestigious German Youth Training Academy, and ultimately made his professional debut at the age of 18.
He joined Bayer Leverkusen’s Tottenham in August 2015 and later broke the record set by his role model Park Jun, the first Korean to play in the Premier League.
His son has broken the record with most goals scored by Korean players in European league seasons. He also became the first Asian footballer to win the Premier League Golden Boots with 23 goals in the season at a level with Liverpool’s Mohamed Sarah in 2022.
On Sunday, my son returned to play against Crystal Palace after a month of outing due to a leg injury. Spurs fans hope to be featured in the Europa League final against Manchester United later this month. Tottenham is about to win its first trophy since 2008.
