Local smoothie king has a new category on the menu. There’s food.
The smoothie chain announced its first national debut of its food menu on Tuesday, August 26th. The company says the menu, called the Power Eats menu, is “specially designed to pair with the brand’s delicious, nutritious smoothies,” and features a “protein packing option with premium ingredients.”
After a successful trial in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the menu was available at all smoothie king locations in the US, loading toast into three options and two Grab and Go Protein boxes, according to a company news release. Menu Function:
- Peanut Butter Toast: It features all-natural drizzle of peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and honey.
- Chocolate Hazelnut Toast: Topped with chocolate hazelnut spreads, fresh strawberries, blueberries and pure Elizabeth granola.
- Avocado toast: Topped with fresh avocado and sprinkle with all the seasonings.
- Egg and cheese protein box: Two boiled eggs, cheddar, monterey, pepper jack cheese, fresh strawberries, blue berries with flax and sea salt crackers.
- Peanut Butter & Fruit Protein Box: Justin’s peanut butter, Vermont meat stick, cheddar, monterey, pepper jack cheese, fresh strawberries, blueberries, flax and sea salt crackers.
Other foods coming in 2026
The company said additional items will be rolled out nationwide in early 2026. These items include:
- Egg clouds: Cage-free eggs baked in a fluffy, cloudy look with light, crisp golden edges. There are three varieties: vegetables, turkey sausages and turkey bacon.
- Delicious Chicken Tender: The tender and flavorful chicken skewers are garlic and spicy habanero with barbecue, buttermilk ranch, or boom boom sauce.
“For the first time in our history, we’re beyond smoothies and bowls because we wanted to give our guests what we wanted,” Gavin Felder, president and chief financial officer of Smoothie King, said in a news release.
Loyalty members can get trades as part of launching a new menu
As part of the menu launch, Smoothie King offers a limited time bundle for Healthy Rewards Loyalty members.
Members can get one of three new loaded toasts, with 20 oz enjoying a treat smoothie for just $9.99. The deal will expand to all smoothie King customers across the country on September 2, the company said.
Founded in 1973, the Dallas-based chain has over 1,200 locations nationwide.
