Six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured in a Baltimore shooting on August 9th.
Baltimore police responded to the scene of the shooting at Spalding and Queensbury Avenue, a northwest Baltimore intersection, around 8:46pm, police said in a police statement calling the incident a mass shooting.
The five-year-old victim was shot in her hand and her injuries appear to be unsevere, Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Wally said at a press conference. Another victim, police did not identify him, but he remains in a critical state.
One woman and three other men were also shot dead, their age ranges from 23 to 52.

According to Wally, a small group gathered outside the residential home when the shooting began.
“Some people sat outside the porch, stood up to the vehicle and seemed to have crab,” he said. “And it looked like someone had set fire.”
As of 8:30am on August 10th, police have not released any additional information or descriptions of the suspect.
“There’s very little information at this point,” Wally said. “What we know is that multiple rounds have been fired and multiple casualties.”
