Mattel is turning Netflix’s biggest anime blockbuster, KPop Demon Hunters into a toy, set to launch later this year.
Mattel and Hasbro are banking on the continued popularity of “KPop Demon Hunter” by launching a new toy line based on the popular Netflix animated movie released last summer.
The toy company announced its “KPop Demon Hunter” toy line, which includes American Girl dolls, Polly Pocket, Uno, Monopoly, and Furby characters, at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair in Germany on January 27th.
The toy line arrived six months after the release of KPop Demon Hunters, which quickly became a pop culture phenomenon, striking a chord with many audiences with its stunning animation, heartwarming story, and catchy original music. The film was recently selected for Best Animated Feature at the Critics Choice Awards and nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and Original Song.
Just in time for a late Christmas gift, Mattel launched the HUNTR/X Rumi, Mila, and Zoe doll series, which quickly sold out during two pre-order windows in November 2025. As of January 27th, the collectible doll remains sold out.
For fans of “KPop Demon Hunter,” or parents of fans, here are some of the new toys.
