The Eastern Conference Finals will follow the New York Knicks heading to Gainbridge Field House to face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. The Pacers lead the series 2-0.
The Pacers defeated the Knicks 114-109 in Game 2 at Madison Square Garden after working overtime in Game 1. Pascal Siakam had a career-high playoff performance, leading the Pacers with 39 points and five rebounds, shooting 23-15 from the field. Miles Turner also made a significant contribution to the victory with 16 points. Tyreese Halliburton also stood out for the Pacers, continuing his playoff run with 14 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.

The Pacers returned with less than seven minutes left in less than four minutes ahead of Aaron Nesmith, who went to the locker room with his right ankle sprained in the third quarter.

Already 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Knicks were sputtered in the second quarter of Game 3 and are currently facing a 13-point deficit with a break of 58-45.
The Pacers exploded late in the quarter, with a 13-0 run caused by their defense, but Indiana’s offense has contributed from everywhere. Each of the 10 pacers who participated in the game scored. However, the second quarter run was led by All-Star Point Guard Tyrees Halliburton.
New York finished 8-2 runs just minutes after Indiana opened the biggest lead of the game with 20 points.
Knicks Center’s Karl Anthony Towns struggled with both shot choices and discipline in the first half. The town picked up an inadvertent foul with three seconds remaining in the first quarter, and was blown two more times at the next 5:50 in the second quarter. Towns only had four points in seven shootings.
He is not the only player in foul trouble. What’s even more unsettling for New York is Jalen Brunson, the team’s unsuspecting leader and top offensive threat, earned his fourth foul in the second half.
Branson led all Knicks scorers with 11 points in two-nine shots, with Mikal Bridge and OG Anunoby chipping with 7 and 10 points respectively.
The Knicks started the quarter fast, taking their biggest 11-6 lead in the first quarter and passed it. They are on the trail, 30-26.
Indiana scored a 10-4 run to take the first lead of the game after Ben Shepherd put on a three-point shot from an assist from Tyreese Halliburton.
Miles Turner scored five points after shooting 2-3 from the field. Halliburton had four points, two assists and two rebounds.
The Pacers’ bench contributed 13 points, but the Knicks’ reserves were nearly scoreless before Josh Hart added two points late.
Jalen Brunson scored 11 points for the Knicks after shooting 6-for-6 from the field.
