If the US government sold your student loan to the private market, would you notice?

That’s a question that 45 million federal student loan borrowers may have. The Trump administration is considering selling part of the federal government’s $1.6 trillion student loan portfolio to the private market.

Millions of people could be uninsured at a council impasse

In months of close to the deadline for health insurance subsidies, state health insurance commissioners warned Congress that premiums for millions of American middle class are likely to double or triple.

Washington is currently in a deadlock and the government is shut down. If they don’t take action, millions could lose their insurance. Which will blink first, Republicans or Democrats?
