Labubu Lovers can be delighted as Pop Mart releases a new collection featuring fan-favorite characters from the story series The Monsters, and they will have the opportunity to add them to their collection.
According to the Toy Company website, the Monsters Wacky Mart series was dropped on the Pop Mart website on Thursday, June 12th at 10pm ET.
The series has grocery and food-inspired designs, including earphone cases modeled after Lovebu’s shrimp tempura.
“The collection rethinks the daily convenience store moment through the eyes of Lovebu and friends,” said Emily Brough, Head of IP Licensing at Pop Mart in a statement emailed to USA Today. “Completing unexpected food mashups and quirky details, there’s no doubt that fans will fall in love.”
The eight product series includes several different blind boxes, plush toys, wallets and display cases.

What is a blind box?
The blindbox includes toys and figurines for a variety of properties, ranging from famous characters such as Hello Kitty and Winnie The Pooh and his friends to popular cartoon characters like Monkey D. Luffy from “One Piece.”
Some of the content in the blindbox may be rarer than others. This will increase the value and collectors will be happy to pay if they are resold online.

What is Lovebu?
The Labubu is a creepy looking doll with a big head, sharp teeth and big eyes wearing fuzzy pajamas. It comes with pajamas, but consumers can buy other clothes and wear Lovebu dolls.
According to Pop Mart, the monster was designed in 2015 by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung. Lung is a Hong Kong-born artist, illustrator and toy designer, Business Insider reported.
“Kasing Lung creates a fairy world with three picture books inspired by Nordic mythology, filling in magical characters with both magical characters, calling them monsters. “The most notable of them was Lovebu, a small monster with high pointed ears and serrated teeth. Despite its mischievous appearance, Lovebu is kind and always wants to help, but often accidentally achieve the opposite.”
