What’s going on with Trump and Epstein?

The British stunt released a birthday letter that Democrats allegedly wrote to Epstein in the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday. The release of the letter has brought new attention to the controversy that has plagued Trump in recent months.

Trump has urged people to move on, but Democrats and some Republicans continue to seek details that could potentially be involved in his crimes.

The president and the dishonest investor were friends, but they dropped out a few years before Trump moved to the White House. Epstein died in prison in 2019.

In his birthday letter, Trump calls Epstein “a companion” and says, “everyday might become another great secret.” The text is in a rough sketch of a naked woman silhouette. Trump vehemently denied that he had written words and made pictures. White House officials say they welcome handwritten analysis.

What does Trump do in the UK?

Trump’s three-day swing to the UK is expected to mix the state visit pageantry with policy efforts to expand nuclear energy and invest in new technologies.

The president’s second state visit to Britain, the trip to London follows an invitation from the royal family that British Prime Minister Kiel Stahme extended when he visited the White House in February. Trump’s first UK visit took place in 2019 during his first term.

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump’s agenda includes a meeting with royal members at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, September 17th. Lunch with the king and queen in the dining room in the castle province. He then visited St. George’s Chapel, where he would personally place a wreath at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Trump met the Queen during a previous state visit.

The president will also meet in order of priorities for a bilateral meeting on Thursday, September 18th. Both men then make their remarks and hold a joint press conference.

Trump and Priorities will promote new science and technology partnerships between the two countries, including new investments of more than $10 billion. Additionally, the two countries are expected to announce cooperation and agreements on nuclear power, the region where Trump has prioritized.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, White House Director Susie Wills and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller are among the White House’s top officials to join Trump on a trip.
