Pink rang in the new year alone in her hospital bed, but the “Raise Your Glass” singer was still smiling as 2026 arrived.
While her family spent the holidays “snowboarding happily,” Pink, wearing a hospital gown and a bandage around her neck, posted a post reflecting on a year that ranged from “catastrophic to slightly annoying.” She also revealed that she underwent extensive medical procedures and told fans that she would be finishing this year focused on “fixing my body.”
“It may not be a flashy facelift, but I now have two shiny new discs in my neck. New scars, new memories, and a reminder to be grateful for this vessel I have and use it to its full potential,” the singer posted. “Rock and roll is a contact sport.”
USA TODAY has reached out to Pink’s representatives for comment.
Celebrities and fans pray for Pink’s soul while singer is hospitalized
In her year-end post, Pink shared a long reflection with her fans, wishing 2026 a year filled with compassion, joy, and caring for each other.
“Let’s be better for ourselves and others. Let’s not be afraid to take care of ourselves and others. I choose joy and leave the hurt behind,” she wrote. “I’m going to choose positive thoughts over negative ones, and I’m going to be furious that the light is going out. I’m going to reclaim my wildness, and I’m going to continue to look for the light even as I experience darkness.”
Pink’s post drew congratulations and sympathetic comments from fellow entertainers including Kristin Chenoweth, Rosie O’Donnell and Juliette Lewis.
Singer Sheryl Crow, who was a special guest on Pink’s 2024 Summer Carnival Stadium Tour, commented that the singer inspired her, writing, “I’m going to print out the post and tape it to my fridge! I encourage everyone to do the same!!”
Actor David Burtka chimed in, saying he “had the same surgery” and called it “the best thing I’ve ever had,” likely referring to the intensive spinal fusion surgery he underwent in 2021.
