Wani Alcatraz, the Florida Everglades immigration detention center, had a special visitor. July 1 – President Donald Trump. In two months he marked his first visit to his hometown.
The state, defended by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and state attorney general James Usmierer, transformed O’Copy’s Dade Collier Training and Transition Airport into Crocoi Alcatraz at Quick Wen (see below). Florida’s Immigration Customs Enforcement Detention Center, previously a 39-square-mile airport facility with a 10,500-foot runway, detaining immigrants temporarily, custody.
But not everyone is on the Wannial Catraz. Environmental groups are protesting against Wannial Catraz after the ground was broken by turning the lonely airport strip into an ice ward.
