DRIPS by Pepsi, PepsiCo’s lineup of popular products with unique mix-ins, launches new flavors inspired by the new movie “Project Hail Mary.” The new flavor, called Starry Astrophage Burst, is a twist on the classic soda Starry.
The limited-time drink combines classic lemon-lime soda with bold blue raspberry and sweet cherry flavors. The soda is topped with a berry gummy bear inspired by Rocky, one of the characters in the movie.
However, this drink is not available everywhere. Instead, the new drink will be shown at approximately 300 Regal cinemas across the United States as the new movie is scheduled to be released on March 20th.
Here’s what you need to know:
How much does the new Starry Astrophage Burst cost?
The new drink retails for $7.99 for 24 ounces and will be available at Regal stores nationwide.
But PepsiCo says movie fans can get more than just a new soda. Fans who purchase a large Starry and popcorn will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a “once-in-a-lifetime trip to Iceland, inspired by the movie’s thrilling extraterrestrial journey.”
What other Drips by Pepsi drinks are available?
This new drink will join the existing lineup of DRIPS by Pepsi drinks at Regal Cinemas, which was first announced in August. They are:
- Pepsi Cherry Boba Burst Pepsi Zero Sugar is layered over cherry boba and topped with sweet cream cold foam and mini marshmallows.
- Starry Dragon Fruit Blast: Starry sky, watermelon, and dragon fruit
- Tropicana Cotton Candy Lemonade: Tropicana lemonade floating on top of candy boba and finished with cotton candy.
