A simple mac and cheese recipe
This Mac and cheese recipe reminds you of your childhood.
The problem has been resolved
If you’re a Panera Mac and Cheese fan, you might want to listen and packer.
On Wednesday, July 9, the Bakery Cafe First Casual Restaurant Chain announced that it has partnered with beauty brands Horror and Glow to launch “unexpected products” that are “also luxurious and playful” in time for National Mac & Cheese Day.
The brand has created two lip balms inspired by Panera’s popular mac and a bowl of cheese and bread. The scent is as follows:
- s’mac My Day: A balm with a golden, mac and cheese scent that is as rich and satisfying as your favorite spoon.
- Get that bread: The toasted bread scented balm in a soft brown shade recalls the scent of baked bread with each swipe.
Panera said the two balms “bring comfort to a cozy, carbohydrate-inspired beauty routine.”
Each box comes with one of each fragranced balm and one of the spoon-shaped applicators. Customers will be able to get Balms for $8 from Amazon and Panera Shop starting July 9th, but supply will be the last.
“It makes sense to start with Panera’s classic Mac & Cheese and Pan Bowl for your first foray into the beauty world.
As an additional treat, Mypanera members will be able to enjoy $2 from Mac and Cheese entrees at cafes nationwide on July 14th. This is National Mac & Cheese Day. Customers in Green Bay in New York City and Austin, Texas may be surprised by the complimentary lip balm duo at local cafes, Panera said.
The lip balm comes a few months after the release of the croissant clutch
The chain S’mac and cheese lip balm are the latest forays into the fashion and beauty space.
Earlier this year, the company unveiled a croissant clutch. The company explained that “bread experts” will take on IT bags for the season.”
Inspired by the company’s croissant toast sandwich, the clutch is a limited edition croissant-shaped bag with “equal parts style and functionality.”
“Unlike the runway croissant clutch, the Panera croissant clutch is perfectly sized to fit the actual croissant toast sandwiches, insulated and keeps you warm for a delicious meal,” the restaurant chain said in a news release in April.
“The trendy brown clutch consists of a pleated design reminiscent of a flaky layer of croissant, a gusset on the accordion side, and a kiss lock closure with a gold frame,” Panera explained the accessories in a news release. “Stylish structured accessories also feature removable gold chain shoulder straps, a custom metal panera ‘P’ emblem and an insulated lining. ”
The clutch was available on April 30th for $39.50. However, it is no longer available.
