Straight Arrow News
Five new golden arrows are set to rise immediately.
In-N-Out continues to expand. Because the company lists five locations in three states as “soon open.” The three locations are in Tennessee, where the company opens its second headquarters.
Once praised by late food authorities Anthony Brudain, the double-double home has continued to expand beyond its California roots in recent years, opening locations in Colorado, Texas and Idaho.
The company previously announced its intention to open a store in New Mexico by 2027.
This is where IN-N-Out will open a new location.
It’ll open soon
The In-N-Out website lists five locations as “soon open,” but the company did not respond to USA Today due to a more clear time frame. These new restaurants are set to open at the following addresses:
- Sylmer, California: 13864 Foothill Blvd.
- Longmont, Colorado: 255 Ken Pratt Blvd.
- Antioch, Tennessee: 4130 William Turner Pkwy.
- Lebanon, Tennessee: 915 South Hartman Drive
- Murfreesboro, Tennessee: 2508 Medical Center PKWY.
Snyder downplays East Coast expansion
In-N-Out CEO Lynsi Snyder pointed out logistical difficulties, further reducing the possibility of an East Coast expansion when he appeared on the “Related” podcast on July 18th.
“We can get to Tennessee from a warehouse in Texas. We have a warehouse, but we don’t do our own meat there, so we can deliver it from Texas,” Snyder said.
“Florida begged us, but we’re still saying no,” Snyder said. “East Coast states, we’re still saying no.”
The company operates most of its California locations, and Snyder added that most of the company’s stores are still in California.
However, on the same podcast, she aired her complaints about the Golden State, gravitationally about the implementation of rules surrounding the California Covid-19 pandemic, and in 2021 state health officials closed two restaurants to not check vaccine status.
“There are a lot of great things in California,” Snyder said. “But raising a family here isn’t easy. It’s not easy to do business here.”
She later relaxed her stance in a statement provided by the company to USA Today, appearing to have posted it on her Instagram page on July 22nd.
“I’m extremely proud of where In-n-out started. Anyone who knows me knows how often we talk about our beginnings and how our customers here in California have brought us where we are today.”
Adding Tennessee HQ, but not leaving California
IN-N-OUT has announced that many of California’s corporate employees will be relocating from Irvine, Orange County to their offices at Baldwin Park in the Los Angeles area.
It is set to be completed by the end of 2029, a mile from the first restaurant opened by Harry and Esthersnyder.
The company said after the Irvine offices close, employees at the company will be located either in the Baldwin Park office or in the Tennessee office. The Nashville area office is scheduled to open in 2026, the company said at the time.
