Best content from NFL Week 6: Consider the Patriots, Titans and Rams
Need help with NFL prospects? Lorenzo Reyes explains why he likes the odds for these three teams on Sunday.
- Lions vs. Chiefs could be the sexiest matchup of Week 6, setting up primetime.
- However, the most competitive battle could actually be Jags vs. Seahawks or 49ers vs. Bucks.
- Two more teams will receive byes in Week 6.
Week 6 of the NFL’s 2025 regular season schedule begins Thursday night, resuming the heated NFC East rivalry between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, with both clubs looking to get back in the win column after last weekend’s losses.
The league’s International Series resumes in London on Sunday morning, with former British ambassador Woody Johnson’s winless New York Jets taking on the suddenly rising Denver Broncos, technically at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This leaves us with some pretty mediocre lineups to start Sunday’s games, with Seahawks vs. Jaguars and 49ers vs. Buccaneers looking like the best of them.
“Sunday Night Football” features a preview of Super Bowl 60, as it once looked and could still be, as the red-hot Detroit Lions, who are on a four-game winning streak, visit the beleaguered but always dangerous Kansas City Chiefs.
The document concludes with Monday night’s doubleheader between Bills vs. Falcons and Bears vs. Commanders putting the finishing touches on this week’s menu.
(The Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings are off when the second round of byes begins.)
