Lowe’s plans to open 5-10 new stores in 2025 are part of an expansion plan that will open potentially dozens of locations in the coming years.
The latest forecasts regarding the opening of the company’s store differ from the plans announced in December 2024. According to a company spokesperson, new forecasts for 5-10 new stores account for the time needed to “strengthen” the company’s opening efforts.
So far, North Carolina-based Home Informer Bomb Malving Store has opened two new stores in Texas and another in North Carolina, which was closed due to Hurricane Helen.
Two new locations are expected to open this year in Texas and Arizona, the spokesman added.
Later, starting in 2026, Lowe plans to open 10-15 stores per year over the next few years.

Lowe’s said it has already opened a location in its next city this year.
