Labor Day may be on us, but the streaming service is still in summer movie mode.

Marvel’s superhero flick “Thunderbolts*” is finally on Disney+, and Netflix has a new edition of the word-of-mouth hit “Kpop Demon Hunters.” These are one of the fresh flicks from my favorite streamers, including Amazon’s Prime Video, Hulu, and Peacock. There are original fares like Helen Mirren/Pearce Brosnan Murder Mystery and theatrical releases such as period dramas with Will Poulter, Daisy Edgar Jones and Jacob Elordi.

Here are 10 new and well-known movies you can stream now:

“Bob Trevino likes that.”

Barbie Ferreira stars in heartwarming dramas as a young woman who wants to reunite with her estranged father (French Stewart). Instead, she has online connections with a stranger (John Legoizamo) who has the same name, and they both develop a bond of friendship in real life.

Where to see: Hulu

“Devo”

Essential viewing when Devo’s knowledge is limited to those red flower pot hats and “whipping”. Band members Mark Motherbo and Gerald Cassert document the creation of a New Wave group following the beginning of their satirical performances in MTV’s early days and the mainstream success of Kent.

Where to see: Netflix

“Eeny Mealy”

Eddie (Samara Weaving), aka “Eeny Meaney,” was an ace wheel woman during her teenage years. When the hot mess of his ex-boyfriend (Carl Glassman) gets worse by his crime boss (Andy Garcia), the talented escape driver is pulled back into the game. To save him, Eddie has to take the casino in action comedy with lots of horsepower.

Where to see: Hulu

“Summer hell”

The stubborn Fin Wolf Hard of “Stranger Things” has stuck to the horror genre for his directorial debut, a thrasher comedy of Jen Z Cabisu of Age, set set at Summer Camp. Fred Hekinger stars like his fellow camp counselors who laughed out of their twenties because they were too old, but when the killers start hunting them, they all have bigger issues than ageism.

Where to see: Hulu

‘KPOP Demon Hunter is Singers’

From all these social media posts to the most watched Netflix movies of all time, animated “KPOP Demon Hunters” is the most talked about movie phenomenon of the summer. Even adults dig it! And now you sing with your kids in a new edition filled with this lyrics, as you’re stuck with “golden” and “soda pop” on your head.

Where to see: Netflix

“A map that connects you”

In a romance based on JP Monninger’s novel, Heather (Madelyn Cline) travels through Europe with his peers when he meets Jack (KJ APA), a young man who follows the path laid out by his grandfather’s diary. Sparks fly, so Heather has to choose between her planned future or this hanky nomad.

Where to see: Prime Video

“Zoopocalypse Night”

Have you been interested in the young man dipping his toes in the waters of a scary movie? This is a good gateway horror comedy for Halloween preparation. The animated flick centers around a young wolf (voiced by Gabbikosmidis) and a gross-looking mountain lion (David Harbor) facing a zoo filled with mutant zombie animals infected with strange meteors.

“A quick horse”

In this 1950s melodrama, Korean war veterinarian Lee (Wil Poulter) wants to move from Kansas to California and begin a new life with his wife Muriel (Daisy Edgar Jones) and brother Julius (Jacob Elordi). However, Julius ends with a romance with a fellow casino employee (Diego Calva) in Vegas, but Muriel has secret uncertainty with his neighbor (Sasha Carré).

Where to see: Netflix

“Thunderbolts*”

Like the superhero “Bad News Bears,” Marvel Super-Team Adventure Stars Florence Pugh, David Harbor, Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell are the misfit crew of B and C-world players in other films. Not only will they save the day, they will juggle the dark darkness and inspired humour into a surprisingly moving quest for mental health.

Where to see: Disney+

“Thursday Murder Club”

Richard Ottoman’s cozy British murder mystery novel has gained a loving adaptation. Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley play as an aspiring detective who tries to crack a cold case for fun. The real whodunit arises when the man who owns their retired home is killed, just as they indoctrinate new members in their club (Celia Imrie).
