‘Stranger Things’ cast is thrilled after seeing photos from season 1
The cast of Stranger Things reminisce about Season 1 and share their heartfelt reactions to old photos.
Millie Bobby Brown has gone back and forth on the Upside Down with her Stranger Things co-stars, but she’s only given one the honor of being her child’s godfather.
On the red carpet at the Season 5 premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, the 21-year-old mother revealed that castmate Noah Schnapp is her daughter’s godfather after being asked who she could ask to babysit.
“Sadie[Sink]is very maternal, but Noah is the godfather,” Brown told Entertainment Tonight at the event.
The “Enola Holmes” actress clarified that she is trusting the entire “Stranger Things” family to care for her baby.
“They all turn into the slimiest, softest versions of themselves. When they’re near her, their baby voices come out, so it’s amazing,” she added.
Millie and Noah became ‘best friends’ on the show
Brown and Schnapp, who play Eleven and Will Byers, respectively, on the hit Netflix series, appeared on the red carpet and said they became “best friends” on set.
Emotions were running high at the Nov. 6 world premiere as the entire cast bid farewell to the show ahead of the final season premiering on Netflix on Wednesday, Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving.
“I’m so sad I can’t believe it’s over. I love them all so much. They’re family for life,” Schnapp told USA TODAY on the red carpet.
Brown adopted a baby girl earlier this year.
Brown announced on social media over the summer that she and her husband Jake Bongiovi, 23, had adopted a daughter.
Brown and Bon Jovi wrote in a joint Instagram post on Aug. 21: “We are so excited to be embarking on the next chapter of this beautiful parent-child relationship in both peace and privacy. And now we’re three.”
Brown confirmed her relationship with Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi’s son in 2021, and the couple held a wedding in 2024 with Matthew Modine, who plays Dr. Martin Brenner, Brown’s “dad,” officiating.
The actress said her biggest adjustment to motherhood has been sleep deprivation.
“There’s nothing like not being able to sleep. You really wake up and you’re like, ‘What time is it?’ But whatever she needs, I’m there,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
