These Epstein photos feature Trump, Clinton and other VIPs
House Democrats have released dozens of photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate showing Bill Clinton, Woody Allen and other alleged sex traffickers.
Philanthropist and businesswoman Melinda French Gates said she is not responsible for answering questions about her ex-husband Bill Gates’ relationship with the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
“Whatever questions remain about what I don’t know, I can’t even begin to know them all. Those questions are directed at those people, even my ex-husband. They are the ones who need to answer those things, not me,” she said on the upcoming Thursday, Feb. 5, episode of NPR’s podcast “Wild Cards.”
“And I’m so happy to be away from all the filth that was there.”
The women’s and girls’ advocate said she was saddened by what Epstein’s victims went through and said reading the details of what they went through “brings back memories of a very difficult time” in her marriage to the Microsoft co-founder.
“It’s heartbreaking. I remember them being that age. I remember my daughters being that age. So for me, every time those details come out, it’s personally hard,” she told host Rachel Martin. “But I moved on from that. I intentionally pushed it away and moved on. I’m in a really unexpected and beautiful place in my life.”
A spokesperson for Bill Gates denied the allegations that surfaced in Epstein’s files released by the Justice Department on January 30, but did not mention his ex-wife’s statements.
Bill Gates’ name listed in Epstein files
Bill Gates was seen alongside the disgraced financier in an Epstein investigation photo released in December, which showed the two of them wearing suits without any context. On January 30, the Justice Department removed another 3 million pages of documents mentioning a number of powerful people, including Gates, billionaire technology executive Elon Musk, and President Donald Trump.
On July 18, 2013, Epstein sent himself two emails, one of which contained an unconfirmed claim that the former Microsoft CEO contracted a sexually transmitted disease from extramarital “sex with a Russian woman” that required antibiotics, according to files shared by the Justice Department.
The other email, a resignation letter, appeared to be written from the perspective of someone named “Boris” and criticized Gates for choosing to “ignore the friendships we have cultivated over the past six years.”
“In my role as his right-hand man, I was repeatedly asked to do things that, in retrospect, ranged from the morally inappropriate to the ethically unsound, with unwarranted connivance, and other actions that bordered on or even crossed the line,” the email said.
Bill Gates’ team says Epstein’s claims are ‘completely false’
A spokesperson for Bill Gates strongly denied the allegations in a statement with USA TODAY.
“These allegations are completely unreasonable and completely false. The only thing these documents show is Mr. Epstein’s dissatisfaction with the lack of an ongoing relationship with Mr. Gates and the lengths to which he would go to entrap and smear him,” the statement said.
Melinda and Bill Gates announced their divorce in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage, with Melinda ultimately leaving the Gates Foundation by June 2024, telling Martin that she felt she had to make the decision.
“It’s an incredible sadness,” Melinda said in a podcast episode scheduled for Thursday, February 5. “I had to leave my marriage. I wanted to leave my marriage.”
“At least for me, I was able to move on with my life. I hope there is some justice for these women today. We see them standing in front of a microphone in Washington, D.C.. What they went through is unimaginable.”
