The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $70 million for the Friday, December 12th drawing because no one matched all winning numbers in the Tuesday, December 9th drawing.
If all six numbers match, you will have the option to pay $32 million in one-time cash.
There were six winners of this year’s Mega Millions jackpot, with the most recent winner taking home $90 million on December 2nd in New Jersey. The win fell short of the winner from Georgia, who took home a whopping $983 million on November 14th.

Mega Millions tickets have built-in multipliers that increase your non-jackpot prize by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times. Previously, players had to pay an extra dollar to add a “Megaplier”.
