McDonald’s global sales are due to the increased demand for promotions.
McDonald’s second quarter global comparable sales beating Wall Street estimates. This is because the bunch of affordable meals and promotions have been drawn to budget-wide diners looking to grow the dollar amid economic uncertainty.
McDonald’s has launched a new way of ordering delivery without the need for a login, account or download.
On Wednesday, August 13th, the fast food chain and Doordash announced the release of a new online ordering system, allowing customers to order directly from their mobile or desktop web pages.
The orders are being met by Doordash drivers, the company said. McDonald’s orders by Doordash were already there, but the new system allows people to order food without downloading the app or logging in to their account.
“With millions of customers visiting McDonalds.com every month, the channel offers a seamless and convenient way to deliver McDonald’s favorites,” the McDonald’s delivery manager said in a news release.
How McDonald’s New Delivery System Works
New MacDonald’s online delivery orders are available through web browsing on mobile or desktop.
To use it, customers can go to https://mcdonalds.order.online and enter their address to place an order.
Alternatively, you can access the new ordering system from the regular McDonald’s website by clicking the (now) button at the top of the menu.
Doordash drivers will receive and deliver the order, the company said.
Other ways to order McDonald’s online
While new online ordering systems may be more convenient, long-time customers may choose to earn reward points by ordering food through other online systems.
Customers can earn points through MyMcdonald rewards by ordering pick-ups or streams using the McDonald app. The program offers redeemable rewards, including free food after earning a certain number of points. However, you will need an account to place an order via the McDonald’s app.
